CubeBox Planning Stage

Step 1: Planning

CubeBox specialist will assess the location site for possible position to install the CubeBox time lapse camera system. Factors to look into mostly were availability of AC power source, camera angle view, location accessible for maintenance, installation permit that’s may involve.

We also look into the type of bracket needed for the location as most installation will need different mounting bracket. After assess the location, we will draft an installation plan with the available location that’s open for installation.

Step 2: Preparation

Once location installation is approved, we prepare the bracket needed for the location. Custom built bracket is mostly the case. With our own metal fabricating yard, we able to product any kind of needed bracket for the site usage.

During the preparation of the mounting brackets, CubeBox Time Lapse RB Controller also go through a series of final checks and test runs with the camera that will be used.

Final assembly of the time-lapse system and it’s ready to be install on site. User account will be also set up and login credentials will be sent to user's email account.

Step 3: Installation

During the installation, we will do a final walk around with the location owner and explain to them regards the installation that will be carried out. Once installation of the CubeBox Time lapse camera system completed, the interval for the camera will be set and the syncing of images will start immediately.

End users will be able to view their site images instantly from their Web Browser or Mobile App using their issued ID and Password that been set up.

Step 4: Editing & Backup

Editing & Backup Time lapse video. After the system capture one week of images after the installation, CubeBox editor will render and edit the Time lapse video to check if there is anything needed to do adjustment on the time-lapse camera on site. A wrong setting or camera angle, even just a loss screw could cause tonnes of useless images for years.

CubeBox Specialist created a 3-step safe image backup protocol to safe guard Clients images.

1, Quarterly render of project images into editing working file.

2, Create 2 set of image on our CubeBox server located on different server hard disk drive.

3. Weekly archival of image from CubeBox server and store externally as backup.

With this CubeBox image Backup protocol, our clients can be ensure that’s their time lapse image are safe at all time and able to access their time lapse image whenever its needed for media reports, presentation or video showcase.
